Riyadh: Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail on Wednesday inaugurated the 35th annual real-estate exhibition Restatex at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event brings together a wide range of government entities, major real-estate developers, investors, and financial institutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Hogail highlighted in his opening remarks that Restatex has become a key platform reflecting the development of Saudi Arabia's real-estate sector over the past 35 years. He noted that the exhibition's continuity and growth demonstrate the market's strength, investor confidence, and its ability to adapt to changing conditions and align with development goals.

Al-Hogail stated that the real-estate sector is entering a new qualitative phase characterized by high-quality planning, faster project delivery, and clearly defined roles for regulatory authorities, developers, and investors. He underscored the importance of laws and regulations as a key enabler of growth and emphasized that public-private partnerships form the foundation for sustainable development.

He commended the support provided by the Kingdom's leadership in creating an enabling environment and advancing urban development. Al-Hogail described the current phase as an opportunity to foster innovation, empower national talent, and build cities that offer greater prosperity and improved quality of life for Saudi families.

Restatex 2026 runs until Saturday. The event will also feature the inaugural edition of PropNext, a specialized platform for dialogue on real-estate legislation, financing tools, investment attractiveness, and development trends through various sessions.
