Jeddah: The Red Sea International Film Festival (Red Sea IFF) is presenting special screenings of two powerful films from Spain and Tunisia, which have each been selected for their significant impact on the cinematic landscape in 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Oliver Laxe’s *Sirat* and Kaouther Ben Hania’s *The Voice of Hind Rajab* will receive special presentations at the festival this year, marking their first screenings in Saudi Arabia at the festival’s fifth edition, scheduled to take place from December 4 to 13 in Historic Jeddah.

Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania presents *The Voice of Hind Rajab*, an emotional and innovative hybrid of documentary and drama that recounts the story of a six-year-old Palestinian girl killed in Gaza, offering a poignant reflection on the human cost of war and the enduring pain it leaves behind.

The Spanish-French co-production *Sirat*, winner of the Jury Prize at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and Spain’s official submission for the Oscars, offers a captivating visual experience that blends sound and imagery in an epic journey of contemplation and wonder. The film follows a father and his son on a search for his missing daughter, where reality and myth intertwine in poetic, dreamlike scenes exploring themes of loss, hope, and redemption.

The Red Sea International Film Festival celebrates the finest in Arab and international cinema in Jeddah. Its diverse program features films from around the world, spanning restored cinematic gems to bold new works by emerging talents.
