Riyadh: Red Sea Global (RSG) and Oracle have announced a collaboration aimed at training 5,000 citizens over the next six months. This initiative aligns with Oracle’s broader objective to train 50,000 individuals within the Kingdom and underscores RSG’s dedication to empowering local communities and fostering Saudi talent.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the training program will be delivered through Oracle’s Mostaqbali learning platform, facilitated by Oracle University. It is a complimentary educational initiative designed to equip Saudi citizens with essential IT skills required for high-demand, tech-driven jobs. Given the pivotal role of Oracle technologies in RSG’s hotels and resorts, the program aims to enhance participants’ employment prospects across RSG’s expanding array of luxury tourism destinations.
RSG Group Head of Technology and Corporate Excellence, Sultan Moraished, emphasized the importance of this initiative as part of RSG’s commitment to nurturing young Saudi talent. He stated, “This initiative forms part of our commitment to support the growth and development of young Saudi talent across the Kingdom and help them achieve their potential.”
Moraished further highlighted the program’s alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 by stating, “By equipping young Saudis with technical skills through a program run by a global technology leader, we believe that we can create a strong pool of qualified candidates for the hospitality sector within the Kingdom.”
Reham AlMusa, Oracle’s Vice President for Business Applications, Public Sector, and Managing Director, affirmed Oracle’s dedication to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. AlMusa remarked, “Oracle is committed to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by empowering local talent with the skills needed for the Kingdom’s rapidly growing digital economy.”
The press release also noted that the program will encompass various Oracle solutions, including enterprise applications and cloud infrastructure services, providing participants with hands-on experience through several educational modules. This preparation aims to ready them for roles within RSG’s hospitality ventures.
