Red Sea Fund and Film AlUla Forge Stronger Alliance to Boost Filmmaking in AlUla

Alula: The Red Sea Fund, a program under the Red Sea Film Foundation, and Film AlUla have fortified their strategic partnership to support film projects set to shoot in AlUla in 2026. This collaboration underscores the robust cooperation between the two organizations, aiming to empower both regional and international talent while enhancing the filmmaking ecosystem within the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the partnership extends beyond mere production support to include project preparation, local talent engagement, and expanded production opportunities across the Kingdom. Films will be shot in AlUla's natural and heritage-rich locations, emphasizing the area's visual allure and further establishing it as an inspiring hub for filmmaking on regional and international levels.

Director of the Red Sea Fund Emad Eskander expressed, "This partnership reflects our commitment to empowering filmmakers and supporting projects with distinctive creative voices as they move into production.
