REBIRTH BEIRUT PRESENTS: BEACONS OF HOPE! THE FIRST SOLO EXHIBITION BY BAHAA JAWHARI

Rebirth Beirut is happy to announce, "Beacons of Hope," the first solo exhibition by Bahaa Jawhari. The event will open on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, from 6 PM to 9 PM at Rebirth Beirut's cultural space in Gemmayze, and will run until Tuesday, June 18th, from 3 PM to 7 PM daily, except on Sunday. The exhibition reveals the artist's journey from hairbrush to paintbrush. For over 20 years, Bahaa mastered the art of hairstyling, earning a stellar reputation as a hair artist. Yet, despite his success, something felt incomplete. Reflecting on his journey now, he marvels at how one can fall in love with something without even realizing it. This realization dawned on him six years ago when he first picked up a paintbrush. That moment was transformative, it was as if he had rediscovered himself, reconnecting with the child within who delighted in playing with magnificent colors. This will be visible in the exhibition featuring artworks created with acrylic on canvas and on wood. Mr. Gaby Fernaine, Founder and Pres ident of Rebirth Beirut, expressed his gratitude and pride in hosting this exhibition and in supporting emerging artists, stating, "We are pleased to showcase the talent of Bahaa Jawhari. His artistic touch brings a fresh perspective and we are happy to exhibit his vibrant creations." Part of the proceeds will go to support Chance Association which helps children with cancer and to support Rebirth Beirut's initiatives, which include infrastructure projects aimed at the rehabilitation of traffic lights, street lighting, and other vital projects serving the beautiful capital of Beirut.
