Riyadh: The Research, Development, and Innovation Authority (RDIA) announced the conclusion of its joint AI innovation program, organized in partnership with Saudi Aramco. The program aimed to support and empower researchers in developing technological solutions to address current challenges in the energy, industry, and logistics sectors, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, participating teams submitted 40 innovative proposals and received support and mentorship from experts and specialists, along with training opportunities to enhance their skills, capabilities, and knowledge.

The program also resulted in the development of 22 prototypes, the incubation of three startups, and the integration of participants into a national innovation community.

Enablement partners include the Ministry of Investment, King Saud University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, IBM, CNTXT Academy, The Garage, TOPEX, and the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE).
