Rare 60-Page Quran Highlights Islamic Heritage at Quran Museum in Makkah

Makkah: The Holy Quran Museum in the Hira Cultural District houses one of the rare and valuable exhibits embodying Muslims' care for the Holy Quran throughout the ages, represented in a unique Quran consisting of 60 pages, with each page containing one complete hizb of the Holy Quran. It was handwritten with meticulous care and high artistic precision and printed by a Tunisian publishing house.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this Quran highlights aspects of the historical interest in documenting the Holy Quran and presenting it in distinctive artistic forms that reflect the status of the Holy Quran in the hearts of Muslims, alongside the beauty of Arabic calligraphy and the precision of the artistic arrangement of Quranic texts.

The display of this rare piece comes within an integrated system of historical collections and interactive technologies presented by the Holy Quran Museum to enrich visitors' experiences. The museum introduces them to the Holy Quran's stages of writing and development throughout various Islamic eras, in a cultural and educational environment inspired by the status of Makkah as the birthplace of revelation and the starting point of the message of Islam.
