Jeddah: Weather conditions are expected to become challenging on Saturday in several regions of Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted the possibility of rain and hail in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah regions. Additionally, rain may also affect parts of Hail, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Eastern, and Najran regions.

Dust-stirring winds are predicted to affect visibility, potentially reducing it to near zero in parts of the Tabuk Region. The weather report indicates that these conditions could create hazardous travel situations for residents and travelers in the affected areas.

The forecast for the Red Sea includes northwesterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 15-50 km/h in the central and southern parts. Waves are expected to vary from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in a sea state ranging from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will shift throughout the day. In the northern and central parts, the winds will be westerly to northwesterly, shifting to southeasterly in the central part at night. In the southern part, winds will transition from southeasterly to southwesterly, then to northwesterly to northeasterly at night, with speeds of 10-30 km/h. The sea is expected to remain relatively calm, with wave heights reaching from half a meter to one meter.
