Rain and Hail Expected in Multiple Regions of Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: Rain and hail are forecasted to impact various regions in Saudi Arabia this Saturday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has indicated that areas including Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, and Riyadh may experience these weather conditions. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are anticipated to affect parts of these regions, as well as Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Eastern, and Najran regions.

Winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-48 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly at 10-30 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights may vary from one to over two meters, resulting in a sea state that will range from calm to choppy. In the Arabian Gulf, winds are predicted to be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts and northwesterly to westerly in the southern part, at 20-40 km/h, with waves reaching one to two meters, leading to a similarly calm to choppy sea state.
