Riyadh:The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the launch of ballistic missiles by the Houthi militia toward the Saudi cities of Taif and Yanbu, describing the attacks as shameful and aggressive acts, an unacceptable disregard for civilian lives, a flagrant violation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, and a clear breach of international law.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued today, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's categorical rejection of attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects and called for an immediate halt to such irresponsible acts.
The ministry reiterated Qatar's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures Saudi Arabia has taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests.
It further affirmed that Saudi Arabia's security is an integral part of Qatar's security and the collective security system of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
