Qatar Condemns Houthi Attack on Madinah Power Station

Madinah:The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the Houthi militia's attack on a power distribution station in Madinah, which serves the Prophet's Mosque and other civilian facilities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Qatar labeled the attack as a severe violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites, a provocation against Muslim sentiments, a clear infringement on Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, and a breach of international law.

In an official statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed Qatar's firm rejection of assaults on holy sites, civilian areas, and civilians, urging an immediate cessation of such actions.

The Ministry reiterated Qatar's unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures taken to protect its sovereignty and security. It emphasized that Saudi Arabia's security is fundamentally linked to Qatar's security and the broader security framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
