Geneva: Qassim University achieved a significant global milestone today in Geneva, Switzerland, by winning first place in the e-learning category at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2026 for its smart platform, QSpark, which was selected as one of the top five projects globally from 90 finalists.
According to Saudi Press Agency, QSpark, developed by Qassim University, employs artificial intelligence to provide a personalized and adaptive learning experience through a unified dashboard. The platform integrates academic analytics and educational support, allowing it to identify students who may face academic challenges and automatically recommend customized remedial plans.
To further enhance student engagement and academic performance, QSpark incorporates predictive analytics and gamification elements. The platform is designed to connect seamlessly with existing university infrastructure, providing a comprehensive digital experience that advances higher education and propels the digital transformation process.
