Riyadh: Qassim Region Governor Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz praised the continued successes of the Buraidah Dates Carnival, expressing pride in its strong local and international presence that has made it a leading national destination and a prominent economic and cultural event.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor made his remarks while reviewing the carnival’s statistics, achievements, and new initiatives introduced this year, which have enhanced its global profile and reinforced the status of Saudi dates as a strategic product carrying the Kingdom’s identity worldwide.

He also thanked the organizers and participating entities for their efforts, noting that the carnival supports farmers, stimulates investment, and promotes date-related industries, while strengthening the Kingdom’s global leadership in date production and exports.
