Prophet’s Mosque Imam Urges Departing Pilgrims to Maintain Righteousness After Hajj

Madinah: During his Friday sermon at the Prophet's Mosque today, Imam Sheikh Salah Al-Budair warned departing pilgrims against returning to forbidden acts, emphasizing that a blessed Hajj reflects a detachment from worldly desires and a yearning for the Hereafter.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Budair highlighted Madinah's unique virtues, the multiplied rewards for praying in the Prophet's Mosque, and the importance of respecting its sanctity with the highest etiquette. He stressed the spiritual significance of maintaining the purity and devotion achieved during Hajj as pilgrims return to their everyday lives.

Sheikh Al-Budair concluded by urging those preoccupied with worldly distractions or personal transgressions never to despair, but to turn to the open door of repentance. He reminded the congregation that the path to righteousness remains accessible and that it is never too late to seek forgiveness and realign one's actions with spiritual commitments.
