Riyadh: Prince Sultan Defense Studies and Research Center on Monday signed several research contracts and agreements during the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx 2025).
According to Saudi Press Agency, EDGEx 2025, held from April 13 to 16 in Riyadh, was organized by the Ministry of Education. The event witnessed participation from major local and international academic institutions and technology companies in the education sector.
The agreements included five research contracts with King Khalid University and Qassim University, focusing on innovative and specialized studies in security and defense systems. Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed with Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
Prince Sultan Defense Studies and Research Center Director-General Dr. Saud bin Saeed highlighted that EDGEx serves as a platform for discovering the latest innovations and scientific solutions in various fields. He emphasized that this aligns with the goals of the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), which aims to train specialized human capital and localize defense technologies.
