Diriyah: Within the corridors of the Palace of Prince Nasir bin Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Saud, the echoes of history blend with the rhythms of the present, bringing to life stories of security and stability that testify to the efforts of the men of the First Saudi State in safeguarding caravan routes, most notably Prince Nasir bin Saud, who was born in the late 18th century AD and was known for his courage and horsemanship.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this comes as part of Hal Al-Qusoor Program, one of the prominent programs of Diriyah Season 25/26, as visitors flock to explore this historic palace, which embodies a period rich in authentic Saudi cultural and social values. Located on the northern side of the historic At-Turaif District, the palace hosts interactive experiences that convey the atmosphere of daily life prevalent during that era, highlighting Prince Nasser's role in contributing to security and maintaining stability. He took part in several military campaigns to protect pilgrimage and caravan trade routes.
Visitors engage in a distinctive experience that embodies the spirit of a leader who combined resoluteness and bravery, through the orchestration of light and sound across the palace's expansive spaces, which are rich in historical and cultural significance. The palace was built in the early 19th century AD in the traditional Najdi architectural style. It consists of a single floor and an upper terrace, with a spacious internal courtyard considered one of the largest in At-Turaif District. The palace is distinguished by its simple and authentic design, in addition to a large majlis for hospitality and decorative elements that reflect the heritage of Diriyah's environment.
