Jeddah: Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz met today with Syrian Minister of Interior Anas Khattab at the ministry’s headquarters in Jeddah. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud welcomed Minister Khattab and his accompanying delegation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud noted that the meeting came in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing security cooperation with Syria and to providing support and expertise to help restore security and stability in the country.

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral security cooperation and reviewed issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by several officials from both countries.
