Riyadh: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the heads of the Arab Coordination Group institutions in Baku today. During the meeting, discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in joint investments and development financing in the water, transportation, and energy sectors, in alignment with Azerbaijan’s Vision 2030 and its national development priorities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, President of the Islamic Development Bank Group Dr. Mohammed Sulaiman Al Jasser praised Azerbaijan’s notable progress in reconstruction and economic and social development, emphasizing the country’s commitment to achieving inclusive and sustainable growth.

The Republic of Azerbaijan is set to host the Islamic Development Bank Group Annual Meeting in 2026, to be held under the theme ‘Diversifying Economies and Improving Quality of Life.’ The event will bring together ministers of finance, economy, planning, and international development from the bank’s fifty-seven member countries.
