Security forces found the body of an officer, murdered inside his home, in Kanaan district of Diyala Governorate.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “A colonel in the border police was found murdered inside his home under mysterious circumstances.”

He added: “A security team began conducting investigations by following up on surveillance cameras in the area to uncover the details and circumstances of the incident.
