PNU Organizes Japan Visit to Advance Academic and Research Cooperation

Riyadh: Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU), through its Deanship of Development and Quality, is organizing a scientific visit program to Japan for a group of faculty members from June 13 to 20, 2026. The program aims to empower faculty members through visits to leading universities, research centers, and industrial institutions, with a focus on scientific exchange, international partnerships, and global experiences in innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program includes visits to the University of Tokyo, the University of Tsukuba, Sophia University, and the RIKEN Research Institute. Additionally, participants will tour smart cities and industrial facilities, and they will visit the Saudi Embassy in Tokyo.

The visit also features workshops and expert meetings on key topics including innovation, artificial intelligence, sustainable energy, and academic-industry collaboration. Through these activities, PNU aims to enhance the academic and research capabilities of its faculty by exposing them to advanced international practices and facilitating collaboration with Japanese institutions.
