Riyadh: The Pan Arab Men and Seniors Championship commenced at the Riyadh Golf Club, organized by the Saudi Golf Federation under the supervision of the Arab Golf Federation. The tournament, which will continue until November 15, includes participation from 13 Arab countries: Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, the UAE, Tunisia, Lebanon, Libya, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, and Palestine.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the CEO of the Saudi Golf Federation, Noah Alireza, highlighted that the championship coincides with a milestone event marking the Arab Golf Federation’s golden jubilee. Alireza noted, “This sporting event comes in a remarkable year as we celebrate 50 years since the launch of the Arab Golf Championship from Beirut, Lebanon, in 1975, which was born from an ambitious Arab vision to unify efforts and develop the sport across the Arab world.”

On the sidelines of the championship, the General Assembly of the Arab Golf Federation is set to hold a meeting with representatives from member national federations. The agenda includes discussions on prospects for future development, enhancing avenues of Arab cooperation, reviewing the federation’s major achievements over the past years, and electing a new board of directors to lead the next phase of its journey.
