Palestinian Minister of Endowments Praises Saudi Arabia’s Bearing Costs of the Renovatoion of Jakarta Islamic Center

Al-Quds, Nov. 18, 2022, SPA -- The Palestinian Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs Hatem Al-Bakri, affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides support for and assistance to Muslims all over the world, citing its pledge to renovate and rehabilitate the Islamic Center in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, after having been gutted by a fire, as clear evidence of the complete consistency of the Islamic charitable dimension that it sponsors in service to the nation to preserve its religious and intellectual role based on moderation and in line with its vision that the nation is "one body".

He pointed out that the Kingdom's leadership, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Crown Prince are the forerunners of these good initiatives.

The Palestinian minister said in a press statement that the renovation of the Islamic Center in Jakarta is an indication that the Kingdom is the leader of the Islamic Ummah and a sponsor of the needs of Muslims all over the world.

He extended deep thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his vision and aspiration to the needs of the Islamic centers all over the world and his support for them to continue performing their mission.

He concluded that the Kingdom continues its pioneering role at the forefront of the Islamic nation and spreading goodness, tolerance and amicability in line with the Holy Quran and the honorable Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
