RIYADH: Islamic Republic of Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived here today accompanied by a delegation to take part in the One Water Summit. Sharif was received at King Khalid International Airport by Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki, and several other officials.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Prime Minister’s visit is aimed at strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, particularly in addressing water management challenges. The One Water Summit is set to bring together leaders and experts from around the world to discuss sustainable water practices and policies.
The Prime Minister’s delegation includes key members of his cabinet, who will engage in discussions and meetings throughout the summit. The visit underscores the ongoing strategic partnership between the two nations, focusing on mutual interests in environmental and economic initiatives.
