Makkah: The Ministry of Commerce announced that the total quantities supplied to retail outlets in Makkah and the holy sites exceeded 712 million essential goods.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the supplies included more than 328.9 million bottles of drinking water, 153 million dairy and juice products, 108 million soft drink products, more than 98 million loaves of bread, and over 24.4 million ice blocks. These provisions aim to enhance market readiness and ensure the continuity of supply chains to meet the needs of pilgrims.

The ministry affirmed the continuation of field monitoring and supply oversight activities targeting commercial establishments, markets, and retail outlets in Makkah and the holy sites. These efforts are in place to verify the availability of essential goods and products and to enhance preparedness levels during the Hajj season.
