Makkah: Scouts from the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are actively volunteering in Makkah and the holy sites to guide lost pilgrims in Mina as part of this year’s integrated volunteer system for Hajj. In collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, scouts operate from 12 field centers throughout Mina. They identify lost pilgrims’ nationalities and service office numbers by scanning the barcodes on their Nusuk cards and then guide them to their accommodations via the shortest routes under the supervision of field scout leaders.
According to Saudi Press Agency, scout teams are stationed at over 180 mobile guidance points across Mina, providing rapid support to pilgrims. These efforts enhance the quality of services for pilgrims, facilitating the smooth performance of their Hajj rituals.
