Over 10,000 Volunteers Contribute 50,000 Hours to Municipalities Ministry’s Urban Beautification Drive

Riyadh: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced the conclusion of its urban beautification volunteer initiative after achieving field and public awareness objectives. A total of 10,213 volunteers took part, contributing more than 50,000 volunteer hours across all regions of the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative also engaged students from public schools in field activities and awareness campaigns targeting public facilities, municipal sites, and schools. The activities helped foster a sense of social responsibility among young people to preserve the urban environment and public facilities.

The initiative focused on three main areas: traffic safety, tree planting, and urban beautification through painting.

The ministry affirmed that the initiative aims to improve cities and enhance quality of life by building more sustainable and vibrant urban environments.
