Najran: The Khairat Najran festival, whose activities began yesterday and are organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in the region, is witnessing wide participation from organic farms showcasing their agricultural produce to highlight the quality of local production and promote a culture of organic farming.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival includes booths for several organic farms, allowing visitors to learn about the quality of organic produce in the region, grown using the latest technologies and modern methods without chemically manufactured fertilizers, substances, or pesticides.

Several farmers said the festival is an opportunity to display their diverse crops, which generate rewarding returns and help strengthen the local economy. They noted that organic farms are seeing growing consumer demand due to their high quality and healthy production practices, encouraging them to expand organic farming and raise production efficiency to meet increasing market demand.
