Tabuk: Five British travelers set out on an extraordinary 500-kilometer camel trek across the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve on Friday, seeking to experience the reserve’s natural beauty, diverse biodiversity, and rich archaeological heritage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority stated that the travelers are covering approximately 50 km daily. As night falls, the group sets up camp and rests before resuming their expedition the following day.
Starting in Al-Qalibah in the Tabuk Region, the travelers will traverse the entire reserve, concluding their journey at the Al-Haditha port in the northern part of the Kingdom.
The authority emphasized that this expedition highlights the reserve’s exceptional biological, animal, and plant diversity. It also underscores the conservation efforts undertaken by the reserve development authority’s field teams to protect and preserve the area’s varied natural resources.
