OIC Condemns Continued Israeli Attacks on Syria

Jeddah: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the attacks by Israeli occupation forces and their incursion into Quneitra and Daraa governorates in the Syrian Arab Republic, including artillery shelling. It described the attacks as a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the general secretariat denounced Israel's continued attacks on Syria and its attempts to destabilize the country's security and stability. It also warned that such actions undermine efforts to establish security and stability in the region.

It reaffirmed the OIC's solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and its support for the country's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. It called on the international community to take immediate action to stop the attacks and ensure respect for the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in a manner that safeguards Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
