NWC to Distribute 10 Million Cubic Meters of Water Daily Across Saudi Arabia during Ramadan

Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) plans to distribute approximately 10 million cubic meters of water each day across all regions and cities of the Kingdom during the holy month of Ramadan. The aim is to meet the heightened demand for water that typically arises during this time, ensuring both residents and visitors have access to ample water resources throughout the month.

According to Saudi Press Agency, NWC highlighted its proactive approach in preparing an operational plan for water management and distribution, ensuring the continued provision of optimal service. It emphasized that the plan includes equipping the personnel at operational centers with the necessary resources to work around the clock, meeting customers’ needs effectively.

NWC also outlined that its strategy for this year’s Ramadan season involves deploying operation and maintenance teams fully equipped with advanced tools and machinery to address emergencies and technical issues swiftly. It stated that its preparations and readiness include receiving customer requests through its e-channels, such as the mobile app and the e-branch (e.nwc.com.sa), as well as the unified contact number (8004411110) for water services across all regions of the Kingdom, available 24 hours a day to receive reports and forward them to maintenance teams that will work around the clock to ensure a timely response.

It also underscored that there is continuous coordination with partners in the Kingdom’s water sector to distribute the cities’ quotas of desalinated water and ensure its continuity during Ramadan.
