NWC Completes Three Buraidah Sanitation Projects Worth Over SAR156 Million

Buraidah: The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Northern Cluster, has successfully completed three significant environmental projects in Buraidah, Qassim Region, with a total investment exceeding SAR156 million. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the infrastructure of environmental services, boosting operational efficiency, and aligning with the sustainability goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the completed projects include the implementation of main and feeder sewage networks and lines, which span a total length of 124 kilometers. Additionally, six pumping stations have been constructed, with a combined capacity of over 37,000 cubic meters per day. These developments will serve various districts in Buraidah, including Al-Rabia, Al-Sabakh, Al-Qaa Al-Bared, Al-Dahie, Al-Nafl, Al-Shorouq, Sultanah, Al-Naqaa, Al-Rehab, Al-Basateen, Al-Rafiah, Al-Rawda, and Al-Salemiyah.

These projects are integral to NWC’s strategic plans to increase sanitation service coverage in the region and to improve the overall service levels. This effort underscores the company’s commitment to adopting best operational practices and adhering to approved environmental standards.

The company has also encouraged residents in these districts to submit service connection requests via its digital channels, including its website and smartphone app, highlighting its dedication to streamlining procedures and offering high-quality, efficient services.
