Riyadh: The northern hospitality section at the Northern Borders Region pavilion, part of the Security Oasis exhibition during the 10th King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, captivates visitors by highlighting the region’s cultural heritage. Visitors can enjoy traditional northern-style Saudi coffee, marked by its dark roast, along with tea and aqt (dried yogurt), embodying authentic northern hospitality.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the section features a traditional folk seating area designed in the northern style, allowing visitors to engage with regional customs. This initiative by the regional principality aims to promote local folklore at national cultural events.
Throughout the festival, the section hosts heritage activities, including Al-Daha performances (a traditional war dance) and live Rababah music, demonstrating the connection between these art forms and the local identity of Northern Borders Region.
