Northern Borders Governor Launches New Initiative for Pilgrims and Umrah Performers

Riyadh: Governor of the Northern Borders Region Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the Darb Association for Serving Pilgrims and Umrah Performers at his office today, with the association’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Suwailem and board members in attendance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the governor reviewed the association’s strategic plan, which includes a variety of volunteer programs and activities designed to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers arriving via the new Arar border crossing. This initiative is part of a larger regional effort to improve services provided to pilgrims.

Prince Faisal highlighted the significance of enhancing field services through institutional efforts and community partnerships, as well as empowering volunteers. He emphasized that these efforts are aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and demonstrate the Kingdom’s dedication to offering exemplary services to pilgrims and Umrah performers.
