New delhi: The 'India-AI Impact Summit 2026' is scheduled to take place on February 19 and 20 at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Center in New Delhi. The event aims to shift the focus of international discourse toward the developmental impact of artificial intelligence and its democratization for the Global South.
According to Saudi Press Agency, while the main summit will span two days, related public engagements and industry exhibitions will run from February 16 to 20 at Central Park in Connaught Place. Participants are expected to include heads of state, government officials, researchers, and industry leaders from around the world.
The summit's agenda focuses on three core principles-People, Planet, and Progress-which are further divided into seven thematic pillars. These pillars address key topics such as human capital development, social empowerment, AI safety, and the application of technology in sectors including healthcare and agriculture.
Alongside the main sessions, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will host the finals of several innovation competitions, including the 'YUVAi' youth challenge and the 'AI by HER' initiative, in addition to organizing an AI Expo aimed at fostering business networking and collaboration.
