Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque is introducing identification bracelets for children at the Grand Mosque. These bracelets, which include guardians’ contact details, are aimed at enhancing visitor safety and ensuring prompt identification if a child becomes lost or separated from their companions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of a comprehensive system designed to improve child safety within the Grand Mosque and its surrounding areas. It assists parents and allows staff to manage emergencies effectively. The identification bracelets are available at King Abdulaziz Gate and King Fahd Gate (Gate No. 79), where dedicated staff are on hand to help guardians register their contact information with ease.

Parents are encouraged to make use of this service, especially during peak periods such as the Umrah and Hajj seasons, to ensure the highest level of care and reassurance for all.
