Al-Baha:The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) has initiated a project to plant 10,000 seedlings in phases along Al-Baha Pass. This pass serves as a link between the Sarawat highlands and the Tihama lowlands.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is conducted in collaboration with the Al-Baha branches of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services. It is carried out under the slogan "A Generation Plants for a Flourishing Nation," with participation from staff of the three entities and numerous volunteers.
