NCUSAR Vice President: US Visit Highlights Saudi Arabia’s Global Importance

Riyadh: Executive Vice President of the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations (NCUSAR) Patrick Mancino commended President Donald J. Trump of the United States for choosing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as his first destination in his second presidential term, emphasizing that this decision underscores a deep recognition of the Kingdom’s strategic significance both regionally and internationally.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Mancino stressed that designating the Kingdom as the first stop on the US President’s official foreign visit demonstrates the US leadership’s recognition of Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role. He emphasized that the Kingdom not only serves as the focal point of the Islamic world and home to the two holy mosques, but also wields substantial political and economic influence in the Middle East and the broader Islamic sphere.

Furthermore, Mancino highlighted that Saudi Vision 2030, spearheaded by the Saudi leadership, represents a distinctive development initiative driving advancements in areas such as education, the economy, the non-profit sector, and innovation.

The NCUSAR vice president expressed confidence that the ongoing collaboration between Riyadh and Washington will usher in a new phase of success, paving the way for the creation of a shared legacy in the years to come.
