The national center for meteorology (ncm) warned today of a cold wave expected to affect several regions of the kingdom starting saturday and continuing through tuesday:ouf, Northern Borders, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the northern areas of Eastern Region. Minimum temperatures are expected, to range between 2°C and minus 2°C.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the NCM has advised residents in the affected areas to take necessary precautions to protect themselves and their properties from the cold weather conditions. The agency highlighted the importance of staying updated with the latest weather forecasts and advisories. Citizens are encouraged to ensure the availability of heating devices and to avoid prolonged exposure to the cold.

The NCM also emphasized that the cold wave might bring frost formation in some areas, particularly during the early morning hours. The agency has called on farmers to safeguard their crops and livestock to minimize potential damage caused by the freezing temperatures.
