Vienna: President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) Mazin Al-Kahmous met with Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Dr. Monica Juma today at the UN headquarters in Vienna. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations in Vienna Dr. Abdullah bin Tawlah, and Chairman of the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) and Nazaha Deputy for International Collaboration Dr. Nasser AbaalKhail.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on existing cooperation in promoting integrity and combating corruption. Discussions included exchanging expertise and developing existing partnerships in joint programs and initiatives. Both sides also reviewed the progress made, updates and developments related to the GlobE Network, and addressed a number of issues of mutual interest.

The meeting is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts, represented by Nazaha, to support international initiatives to combat corruption. Saudi Arabia aims to contribute actively to developing policies and tools needed to address corruption crimes, and promote transparency and accountability on an international scale.
