Vienna: President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), Mazin Al-Kahmous, visited the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) headquarters in Vienna, accompanied by an official delegation. He was welcomed by Interim Dean Drago Kos and senior officials of the academy.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Al-Kahmous reviewed the academy's capacity-building programs, training plans, and workshops designed for specialists in anti-corruption agencies. This engagement underscored the importance of specialized training in the global fight against corruption.

The visit also spotlighted the academy's global data dashboard, which is designed to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-corruption bodies. This innovative tool was launched during a United Nations conference and has been referenced in decisions by the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

Discussions during the meeting explored opportunities for cooperation between Nazaha and the academy, focusing on supporting both national and international efforts to uphold integrity and combat corruption. The meeting also covered various topics of mutual interest, aiming to strengthen collaborative efforts.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a founding member of the academy, joined its establishing agreement in 2013, reflecting its ongoing commitment to international anti-corruption initiatives.
