Riyadh: Nature reserves and ecosystems have contributed to the return of various species of wildlife to the ecological landscape in the Northern Borders region. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aman Environmental Association in the Northern Borders Region Nasser Al-Mujlad stated that the region’s diverse ecosystems result from its vast area and geographical nature, which are responsible for the unique biodiversity and ecological life due to the natural components that maintain the environmental balance, most notably wildlife of various types and species.

According to Saudi Press Agency, many endangered wild plants, such as wild lotus and Prunus arabica, have recently been spotted in the Northern Borders region. Additionally, sand cats, Arabian wolves, and several reptiles have been observed. The Aman Environmental Association is committed to spreading environmental awareness among the community to achieve sustainable development across different environments.
