National Security announces the arrest of 158 defendants this month

The. Iraqi National Security Service ( INSS) announced today, Friday, the arrest of 158 defendants during the current month. The INSS stated, in a statement, that it 'continues to implement its qualitative operations throughout the country's governorates in accordance with a distinguished intelligence effort and judicial approvals, as it was able during the month of May to arrest (35) accused of terrorism and (54) drug dealers and promoters, in addition to the overthrow of (69) electronic blackmailer. The statement added: 'On the economic level, our detachments seized more than (3) thousand tons of smuggled and spoiled wheat and (55) tons of materials unfit for human consumption.' He continued: "In separate duties, our detachments carried out arrest operations that included the overthrow of (7) accused of practicing human organ trafficking, and two accused of belonging to extremist religious movements, in addition to the arrest of two accused of trafficking in antiquities.
