National Institute Launches Educator Program to Boost Tourism Awareness

Riyadh: The National Institute for Educational Professional Development has recently unveiled a specialized training program aimed at enhancing tourism awareness among educators. Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, this initiative seeks to bolster professional development within key national sectors, aligning with the Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program, which is set to commence on Thursday, is designed for teachers across various disciplines and educational levels. It focuses on deepening their understanding of tourism and hospitality concepts and emphasizes the role educators play in supporting the national economy. Additionally, the program aims to equip educators with the skills needed to integrate Saudi Arabia’s rich historical, natural, and cultural tourism resources into their teaching, thereby fostering national pride and identity among students.
