Riyadh:According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has initiated the sixth edition of its national cybersecurity awareness campaign. This campaign is designed to enhance cybersecurity awareness and promote a robust cybersecurity culture among various segments of society, with an emphasis on upholding national security values.
The campaign is strategically timed to coincide with Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which is observed every October. As part of its nationwide initiatives, the NCA provides cybersecurity awareness guides and a campaign-specific awareness kit to over 2,000 national entities. Additionally, it launches an awareness campaign to educate the public.
The focus of the campaign is on raising awareness about the significance of cybersecurity and encouraging safe cyber practices across different age groups. It also aims to promote the use of the "Tahqaq" service, which helps community members safely and proactively verify the reliability of circulated links before accessing them.
