Riyadh: The National Center for Wildlife signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the SPA News Training Academy to enhance cooperation in developing specialized media content and building national capabilities that will support efforts to conserve biodiversity and ensure the sustainability of wildlife in the Kingdom. The MoU was signed at the National Center for Wildlife headquarters in Riyadh in the presence of the center’s Chief Executive Dr. Mohammad Qurban and SPA News Training Academy Chief Executive Tariq AlShaikh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU aims to unify efforts to develop specialized wildlife-related media content and to train national talent in environmental media and specialized content production. It also seeks to strengthen community awareness through initiatives that promote wildlife conservation and biodiversity protection.

Dr. Qurban confirmed that the signing expands the center’s strategic partnerships with national media entities, recognizing media as a fundamental element in supporting wildlife conservation messages.

Meanwhile, the SPA News Training Academy chief confirmed that the MoU aims to support human capital development across media, news coverage, artificial intelligence, and specialized media through short training programs, long-term diplomas, and specialized fellowships, while also leveraging government support for human capital in the media sector.
