Riyadh: The National Center for Mental Health Promotion (NCMH) has released its 2025 Annual Mental Health Volunteering Report, highlighting efforts to strengthen community participation, empower volunteer initiatives, and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the report indicates that the total number of registered volunteers reached 14,263, while the number of unique volunteers stood at 10,185. Men accounted for 55.44% of volunteers compared with 44.56% for women, while Saudi nationals made up 98.75% of the total, underscoring the strong contribution of national talent to mental health initiatives.
The volunteer system recorded 760,690 accredited volunteer hours, with an estimated economic value exceeding SAR53 million.
NCMH stated that the report's findings reflect the continued growth of the mental health volunteer system and its measurable impact on attracting volunteers, expanding volunteer opportunities, and increasing the economic and social value of community participation.
