MWL Secretary-General Visits IMCTC in Riyadh

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa visited the headquarters of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) in Riyadh. During his visit, Al-Issa delivered a lecture which was attended by IMCTC Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi along with several representatives of member states. The lecture addressed the transformations in contemporary intellectual ideology and Islamophobia, while discussing effective countermeasures.

According to Saudi Press Agency, both sides explored ways to strengthen cooperation, aiming for greater integration across multiple fields related to combating extremism and terrorism. Al-Issa received a detailed briefing on the coalition’s key counterterrorism efforts across four main areas: intellectual, media, financing of terrorism, and military operations.

Al-Issa commended the Kingdom’s leadership for its unwavering support in combating terrorism and extremism in all their forms. He emphasized the pivotal role of IMCTC in countering extremist ideology through its strategic initiatives and programs.
