The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, has inaugurated the Holy Quran International Museum project at the MWL headquarters in Makkah.
Al-Issa said that the idea of this pioneering project, which is the first of its kind considering its content and objectives set by the MWL's Agency for Serving Quran and Sunnah, starts from within the headquarters of the MWL in Makkah.
He noted that the museum aims at introducing Quranic values and the wise provisions of the wise verses of the Holy Quran.
Al-Issa added that the museum will also highlight miracles of the Holy Quran, supported by scientific-proven facts.
The Secretary-General also said that participants in preparing the museum project included MWL's International Council for Holy Quran Perfect Recitation Sheikhs, stressing that the museum will have an advisory commission with several senior scholars of the Islamic world. The museum will be tasked with organizing conferences, forums and lectures worldwide.
