Jakarta: Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa delivered the Friday sermon at Jakarta’s Istiqlal Mosque, the largest in Southeast Asia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Issa highlighted Islamic values that call for noble conduct, unity, and kindness toward others. He emphasized the dangers of incitement against Muslims and the responsibility of the international community to counter such actions.

Al-Issa underscored the importance of respecting diverse Islamic jurisprudential views and unifying positions on major common issues. He concluded by referencing the MWL’s document on building bridges between Islamic schools of thought, which aims to strengthen unity and promote joint Islamic action.
