Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) extended its sincere condolences to the Kingdom of Thailand and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and to the families of the victims and the missing, following the floods that struck both countries and caused significant losses.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa expressed the league’s solidarity and sympathy with the peoples of both countries and with the families of the victims of this painful disaster. He wished the injured a swift recovery and the safe return of those who are missing.
